Mimi Pawliczek

Mimi feels passionate about what she does and feels fortunate to be in a business where she can work with wonderful customers and excellent clients. She remembers when she started selling antiques and collectibles at flea markets in 1979 and at house sales in her early twenties. During this time she completed her associate’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Accounting. She worked in entertainment and lighting design for twelve years. For several decades Mimi took time to raise her family while still maintaining her lifelong interest in auctions and flea markets.

From 1999 to 2014 Mimi practiced professional event photography. She earned Second Place in Landscape at the 2006 Chester County Flower show as well as numerous awards from the Chester County Camera Club. Most of her photography focused on historical landscapes and farms before they were converted to housing developments. Her photography was featured by the London Grove Township Historical Commission, where she served as a board member for seven years.

Mimi owned an antique store in Avondale called Treasure Grove until 2009 when she shifted her focus to online sales full time. She maintained a 100% rating on eBay for ten years with over 5,000 successful item sales. Throughout the years Mimi has served her friends in the business as a personal appraiser for furniture and antiques.

Today Mimi maintains three boutiques at two antique malls located in Adamstown and Chadds Ford. Adams Antiques, located at 2400 North Reading Road, Denver PA, is open seven days a week from 10 am to 5 pm. The Pennsbury Antique Mall, located at 640 Baltimore Pike, Chadds Ford, PA, is open Thursday through Monday from 10 am to 5 pm. Mimi sells small antique and modern furniture and art and specializes in the Mid-Century Modern era at Adams Antiques. Her Pennsbury booths have a Hollywood Regency feel with antique and vintage art, bottles, ephemera, American Girl Doll, fine home interior items, etc. She also has a showcase at Pennsbury where she sells Pandora jewelry, fine jewelry, costume jewelry, etc.

She previously maintained a booth at the Cackleberry Farm Antique Mall and at the 10/41 store in Cochranville, PA, where she was a loyal consignor for eight years in addition to seven years of regular consignment at the Encore Shop in Longwood, PA. In July of 2017 Chester County Estate and Tag Sales, LLC was born out of Mimi’s desire to provide her most comprehensive service yet. In her spare time, Mimi enjoys gardening, DIY, and interior design. She lives in Avondale, Pennsylvania with her husband Gary Pawliczek who is a financial advisor. Mimi has four successful children.
