Don Almquist – Artist Bio

Don Almquist’s accomplishments as a painter and graphic artist are many and varied.

Not only is his work represented in private collections in the US and abroad, but he has also exhibited in ten solo shows and 16 juried shows in the US, Canada, and Sweden while gathering a number of awards. Earlier in his career, he served as an art and creative director for Åhlén & Åkerlund in Stockholm, Sweden – one of the largest and most influential publishing houses in Europe – and also as a graphics advisor to the US Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service in Washington.
